20.12.2011, We are looking forward to EclipseCon 2012 in Reston/Virginia (26.-29.03.2012)
Almost "as usual" we are looking forward to also this year participate in the eclipse worldconference, the EclipseCon 2012 (which takes place for the first time in Reston/Virginia) with speeches/workshops by Tom Schindl. We would be really pleased to meet you there!
12.12.2011, BestSolution releases e(fx)clipse in version 0.0.9
BestSolution today was able to release e(fx)clipse in version 0.0.9. Also with this release come lots of new features and possibilities - find a short introduction in the associated blog and the download as usual at our e(fx)clipse projectsite.
30.11.2011, BestSolution at the google campus in Mountain View/California
We are pleased, that we were able to introduce ourselves directly at the google campus in Mountain View (California) with a talk by Tom Schindl (find slides here). We enjoyed this great opportunity very much and were able to gain a lot of great impressions and new contacts.
13.11.2011, BestSolution releases e(fx)clipse 0.0.8 and starts all new project-page
e(fx)clipse - our Java FX2.0 Tooling-Plattform/Runtime for Eclipse and OSGi - was released today in version 0.0.8, which provides you with a lot of innovations/improvements.
Beside this we simultaneously were able to proudly present the all-new e(fx)clipse project page under efxclipse.bestsolution.at, which provides all the latest information onto the project.
02.-04.11.2011, BestSolution at the EclipseCon Europe (Germany) - introducing e(fx)clipse
BestSolution with Tom Schindl was also this year represented at the EclipseCon Europe in Ludwigsburg (GER) with some interesting contributions in the area of Eclipse 4 (Video: not commonly known features of e4 platform and Video: actual state of e4 platform and what is cooking for 4.2) and for the first time an introduction of e(fx)clipse, our Java FX2.0 Tooling-Plattform/Runtime für Eclipse und OSGi - find the slides here.
02.05.2011, BestSolution at the JAX 2011
Link in the previous year BestSolution was represented at the JAX, i.e. the conference for holistic technical know-how in the enterprise and web environment. Tom Schindl was able to enthuse the audience among others with his talk in the area of EMF-Databinding (find the slides her).
05.03.2011, Tom Schindl among the finalists for the "Eclipse Top Committer"-Award 2011
After receiving the "Eclipse Top Contributor" Award in 2007 and the nomination for the
"Top Ambassador Award of the Eclipse Foundation" in 2009 this is already the third honouring for our deep contribution to the Eclipse Comunity. Not at least a strong signal for a long-standing and successful relationship and an appreciation for our comprehensive knowhow in the Eclipse arena.

With the presentation of the "Travel-App" our cooperation partner EwwwENTS AG today was able to introduce one of the most innovative and modern marketing possibilities for tourism regions & -organisations (but also companies with subsidiaries in general). Beside this EwwwENTS offers with the solutions "Mini-App" and "Hotel-App" also tailor-made instruments für tourism-, hotel- & gastronomy-companies which are able to confer the major edge in customer solicitation. We are very glad and proud of being part of this successful implementation.

BestSolution as a "regular visitor" to all main Eclipse conferences has certainly also participated in this year's European Eclipse Conference in Ludwigsburg with some "Workshops&Speeches". 2010-07-28, Eclipse SDK 4.0 "early adopter release"
The Eclipse Foundation has today announced the availability of Eclipse SDK 4.0, the next generation Eclipse platform. Eclipse 4.0 introduces new features that make it easier for the members of the ecosystem to build and assemble Eclipse plugins and RCP applications. Also BestSolution – due to its extensive involvement in the planning&development is very proud on this release.
2010-06-25, BestSolution at the Eclipse DemoCamp Helios 2010/Vienna

BestSolution.at once more participated in this major European conference "JAX 2010" (the main european conference for Java, Enterprise Architectures and SOA) in Mainz with speeches on EMF and EMF-Databinding (you can download the presentation slides here) respectively informative meetings.

Some may say "almost naturally" we are also represented on EclipsCon2010 in Santa Clara with tutorials and speeches - this year mainly representing the "anatomy of e4-applications", but also giving an overview on our products/projects QxWT and ufacekit.
2010-02-28, QxWT 1.0.1.0 and GRaphael 1.3.1.0 released
QxWT 1.0.1.0: We are very proud to announce the release of QxWT 1.0.1.0 inluding a lot of new features like:
- Full support for Qooxdoo-Databinding
- Advanced GWT-Features to e.g. Subclass JSNI-Wrappers and overload JavaScript methods in Java
- Integration into the qooxdoo-Toolchain to create optimized JavaScript
- Integration of GRaphael to create advanced graphics, animations and charts ontop of SVG and VML using Raphael
GRaphael 1.3.1.0: At least as proud we are on the simultaneous
release of GRaphael 1.3.1.0 - a JSNI-wrapper for the JS-libray Raphael, which allows support of advanced graphics and animation in QxWT. Therefore QxWT comes with an addon module which provides direct integration of GRaphael into QxWT-Applications.

2010-01-02, QxWT 1.0.0.1 released
The new QxWT version 1.0.0.1 released today fixes a couple of minor issues and introduces some important improvements. A small excerpt of the new features:
- support for qooxdoo-Forms
- improved Table-Setup (back and forth conversion between Java and JavaScript has been improved)
- a frist start for databinding (completion planned for version 1.0.0.2, scheduled in February 2010)
